  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Glaze

  • 2 cups powdered sugar (about 8 ounces), sifted
  • 1/4 cup whole milk, divided
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • Finely chopped pistachios and dried edible rose petals (optional)
